Abolished RM4.50 in 2007, but charges RM24.50 two years later

There is no free education in Malaysia - not as claimed by the Minister. Education director-general Tan Sri Alimuddin Mohd Dom announced that school fees f0r 2010 had been set at RM24.50 for primary school pupil and RM33.50 for secondary school students. PTAs are allows to charges additional fees based on their activities and parents' socio-economic background.
